The Military Affairs Council of the Virginia Peninsula Chamber of Commerce is proud to present it's Semi-annual Job Fair, October 21, 2010, from 9a.m. - 2p.m., at the Holiday Inn Hampton Hotel & Conferece Center (1815 W. Mercury Blvd., Hampton, Virginia). Now in its 25th year of planning this semiannual event, the Job Fair has been hailed as "one of the biggest and best job fairs on the East Coast."

Jobseekers receive the rare opportunity to network with human resources personnel representing more than 100 companies from the Hampton Roads Region and around the nation.

The Job Fair is free and open to active-duty and recently separated military members, retired military members, reservists, DoD civilians, their dependants, and the general public. Advanced reservations are not required for job seekers. Please come dressed as if for an interview and bring plenty of resumes.

The Military Affairs Council (MAC) of the Virginia Peninsula Chamber of Commerce invites your business to participate in our semi-annual Job Fair, October 21, 2010, from 9a.m. - 2p.m., at the Holiday Inn Hampton Hotel & Conference Center (1815 W. Mercury Blvd., Hampton, Virginia).

More than 500 job-seekers and about 60 employers, universities, federal, state, and local agencies from Hampton Roads and throughout the nation attended our spring Job Fair held in April of 2010, enabling hiring firms to identify and recruit outstanding people. The MAC anticipates a higher number of vendors in October.

The Hampton Roads area has representation from the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, & Coast Guard. These potential employees present a unique source of well-trained and highly motivated workers with a proven ability to step into an organization and contribute immediately. They bring tangible skills, enthusiasm, and the ability to learn, develop and get results. Perseverance, commitment, loyalty, and versatility characterize their work ethic. We know that you will want to take advantage of this opportunity - not only to recruit for your company, but also to showcase your business as a supporter of the United States Armed Forces.

Standard exhibit spaces for Virginia Peninsula Chamber of Commerce members are: $450. Standard exhibit spaces for Prospective Virginia Peninsula Chamber of Commerce members are: $500. The exhibit space will include a 6 foot draped table and two chairs, beverages, and two lunch tickets. (Displays larger than 6 feet will require purchase of two exhibit spaces.) In addition, you will be listed on this web site. You are responsible for providing signs and displays. Electrical outlets will be provided for a fee of $50.00 prior to the event. If purchase day of, the cost will be $80. If needed, internet access can also be provided for $50.

Sponsorships are also available for added exposure of your company before and during the event. Sponsorship levels are $650, $800, $1,050, and $1,500. With sponsorships your company will receive all of the exhibitor items, plus recognition on all printed materials, publicity before and during the event, and a 1/4 page, 1/2 page, or full page ad in the Job Fair Employers' Book handed out to all of the jobseekers at the event.
